The term ‘you’ refers to the user of our website. ‘Peterborough Ear Care’ is a trading name of Decomid Limited.

External systems for booking and payment (Privacy And Cookie Policies)

All appointments are subject to availability. At times of high demand or restricted staffing we cannot guarantee availability of appointments which may mean an extended wait for some users.

Users of the website at www.earwax-gone.co.uk  may book appointments using the provided link. This link accesses booking and payment systems hosted outside of the website.

For convenience, in order to facilitate booking and payment for appointments, Peterborough Ear Care’s website at www.earwax-gone.co.uk provides a link to external providers (listed below). Personal Data shared with the below providers is done so at your own risk and we advise extreme caution and consultation of their privacy and cookie policies before proceeding with the use of these services. By accessing the systems provided by the below services via our website, you are accepting their terms and conditions, privacy policies and cookie policies.

Booking

The booking and clinical records system used by Peterborough Ear Care is provided by Red Guava Pty Ltd (ACN 147 311 466) through their product, Cliniko. This system is UK GDPR compliant. Payment and Refunds

Payment

The standard fee before any promotional offers (at time of writing) is £65 for a home visit appointment. This covers a home visit for wax removal from one or both ears.

If, despite best efforts, we are unable to remove wax then a follow on appointment can be arranged at reduced cost. Please note: We advise Olive Oil Ear Drops use for up to 7 days before your appointment. Not doing so can significantly reduce the likelihood of successful wax removal. Some ear conditions preclude ear drop use, please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have any concerns.

Refunds

If neither ear has wax to remove, then we will refund £30, retaining the remainder as a call out and admin fee. There is no reduction or refund for single-ear wax removal.

If you request a refund due to cancellation, or are due a partial refund because there was no wax found/removed, please note that the payment services we use will only allow refund to the payment method originally used. e.g. If you used your bank debit card, we can only refund to that same card.

Refunds are processed by us same or next working day, however depending on your bank/card provider funds may take up to five to ten working days to appear on your account. If after ten working days your refund is not showing, please contact your bank/card provider in the first instance.

Changes and Governing Law

We may revise these Additional Terms and Conditions of Use at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we have made, as they are binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in these Additional Terms and Conditions may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the Referrer section of the Peterborough Ear Care Website.
